A Hero's DeathAs I lay here dying, I can’t help but think that I should have seen this coming. After all, if you live life by the sword, you’ll eventually die by it too. It’s funny though, even while the life is being leeched out of me from the wound in my chest, I don’t really feel any pain. It’s definitely there, but it seems dull and distant, as if I’m just an observer in someone else’s body. And though my body is slowly being drained of it’s life and I gasp for breath, my mind is racing, going over everything that has led me to this point. I only wish there was someone who I could tell my tale to, so that they miA Hero's Death
